History
McCoy was officially founded on April 1, 1998. The founder and owner, Sander Kroese, was 24 years old at the time and worked at a cleaning company in Delden. From a young age, he developed a strong affinity for cleaning work. He was involved in thoroughly cleaning cars in his youth and regularly assisted with household cleaning tasks in his parental home.
The idea for McCoy arose during an informal gathering in the hospitality industry. In the early stages, the company focused primarily on cleaning services for various hospitality establishments in Oldenzaal. The name 'McCoy' was deliberately chosen due to its meaning and connotation. Although it is a common surname in Scotland, the expression 'The real McCoy' refers to authenticity and quality, or in other words: delivering the best and the genuine work. These values form the core of the company's vision.
